A collection of photos from my encounters with migrating birds along the Baltic Sea coast of Latvia. Each Spring and Autumn the birds travel along the sand dunes in search of better weather. Please note that some of these were taken with slide film before the arrival of digital cameras. This collection will be added to over time. A collection of photos of five ginger kittens that I was fostering for the RSPCA after they were abandoned. A useful resource for conversations about the life cycle, birth, death, pregnancy, and the things that we need if we keep pets. How do we keep them healthy? Also useful for discussions about genetics, why kittens have blue eyes, and how the kittens are ginger when their mum is a different colour. Or for talking about the pets we have ourselves or would like to have in the future. Ideal for primary school students, and students learning English as a foreign language. Compare with the pictures in Part One when the kittens were younger and their eyes were still blue, how else have they changed in just a few weeks?
